Directions 2 hours drive from Pretoria: Waterberg area - Limpopo region
Directions from Johannesburg approx. 280km
1.Take the N1 towards PRETORIA.
Follow the signs on the N1 towards POLOKWANE (Pietersburg)
2.Pass through 1st Toll Gate - "Pumulane"
3.After 35km, pass through 2nd Toll Gate - "Carousel"
4.After 65km, makes sure you are in the far LEFT lane, pass through 3rd Toll Gate - "Kranskop", take the exit to the left towards MODIMOLLE (Nylstroom)
5.Turn left on R33 towards Modimolle.
6.After 10km you will reach town of Modimolle.
Continue straight through the town over several stops/traffic lights.
Continue straight on the road towards Vaalwater.
7.When you have driven 60km from entering the town of Modimolle, you will be at a stop street in Vaalwater (the only stop in town). Turn right (direction Melkrivier) and follow the road for 31.7km
8.Turn right onto sand road towards Sondagsloop and follow the road until t-junction (11.1km)
9.Turn right (see white Olievenfontein sign)
10.Follow the road for 4.8km, passing the Waterberg Game Park on your right.
Entrance to Olievenfontein is on right-hand side after road curves. |
